David Havas, a professor of 

psychology and bassist, first 

discovered the link between

the body and music on a

fretboard. Having toured the

country and Tennessee with

legendary old-time string

band, the Reeltime Travelers,

he now provides a seasoned

soulfulness to bluegrass jams

throughout Madison.

Starr Moss spent nearly 4

years on the road with the

Chicago-based band the

Henhouse Prowlers, who

were selected twice by the

US State Department to

participate in the American

Music Abroad program. His

musical interests span a

range of styles, including

bluegrass, old-time, celtic, and jazz.
